MICHELLE GUEVARA, MSW, LCSW

DIRECTOR

My name is Michelle and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois. I am a native of Chicago and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2016. I have accumulated 8 years of experience in the field of therapy, initially starting my career at a non-profit organization in Chicago as a school-based therapist before transitioning to private practice for the past 3 years.

Being a daughter of immigrants and a member of the Latinx community, I am deeply passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Historically, the BIPOC community has been marginalized in discussions about mental health, and it is crucial for me to create a safe space where individuals can feel secure and empowered to address any internalized stigma they may face.

My work as a therapist involves assisting young people in navigating various challenges and providing them with a supportive environment to process their struggles. It is my priority to offer a secure and reliable space for individuals to explore and address their mental health concerns.
